Aiden Goodwin Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you of the sudden and tragic passing of our cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and dear friend. His passing came as a complete and totally unexpected surprise. Yarmouth is the location where Aiden Léo Goodwin was born on December 7th, 2004.

Since he was a young child, Aiden’s friendly smile and generous heart were obvious to everyone who came into contact with him. Whether it was at school, in sports, among colleagues, within the community, or even with strangers he had just met, he effortlessly formed friendships with anyone and everyone he encountered. He was able to do this with ease.

Aiden was the kind of person who had a profound concern for the people or things that he loved. It was well known that he was a compassionate and caring individual who ensured that anyone who was close to him was never more than a phone call away. He was always just a phone call away.

He was frequently seen checking in on his friends, asking them to go for drives, going to the gym, or simply hanging out. He was quite the social butterfly. Because of his contagious smile, he never failed to brighten the atmosphere wherever he went. The bright light that was shining on us has been taken away.

Aiden was a diligent worker who appreciated his truck with its loud exhaust, enjoyed playing video games with his friends, and could frequently be heard yelling at the top of his lungs while he was engaged in some of his favorite activities.

Wheeling, cologne, going out to eat with friends, going to the gym, and listening to country music were some of his other favorite things to do. Additionally, he had a deep affection and concern for his family as well as his countless friends. The influence that Aiden had on our lives cannot be adequately conveyed through the use of words alone.

Aiden is survived by his parents, Lise and Joel; his brother, Elias; his grandparents, Simone and Earl Muise and Marlene and Kevin Goodwin; his aunts and uncles, Nicole (Alec) d’Entremont, Robin (Bobbi-Jo) Goodwin, Paul Brannen-Goodwin, and Jody Malone; his cousins, Mylène, Maxime, and Manon d’Entremont, Charlee Nickerson, and Ivy Shand; and a large number of friends whom he loved deeply.

At the Yarmouth Fire Hall on Sunday, March 3, 2024, between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., we would like to invite you to join us in commemorating the life of Aiden, his love for others, and the indelible mark he forever leaves on our hearts.
