Madison Becknell, a woman from Crestwood, tragically lost her life in an accident on La Grange Road in Shelby County on February 28. The accident occurred due to a collision between her vehicle and a tractor-trailer.
An official from the Shelby County Coroner’s Office confirmed Madison’s passing at the scene of the accident. Madison, a graduate of Oldham County High School and a senior at the University of Kentucky, was pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Leadership.
During her time at the University of Kentucky, Madison became known for her presence as an Instagram influencer. Though she had not initially set out to become an influencer, Madison embraced the opportunity to work as a student worker for the college’s social media account. She utilized her platform to showcase the academic path and opportunities available at the university.
