Remembering Firefighter Jason E. Baldwin: A Dedicated Servant and Beloved Family Member

The Fire Department mourns the passing of Active Member, Firefighter Jason E. Baldwin, of Ladder Company 46, who passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Jason was not only a committed firefighter but also a cherished son-in-law of Former Squad 288 Captain Tom Evans.

He is survived by his spouse Kelly, their 2-year-old son Greyson, his parents Barbara and John Baldwin, his in-laws Debbie and Tom Evans, his brother Bryan, his sister Caitlan Bose, and numerous extended family members and friends.

In honor of Firefighter Baldwin’s memory, the family requests donations be made to The Firefighter Jason E. Baldwin Children’s Scholarship Fund.

Contributions can be sent to The FDNY Foundation or made online, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting Jason’s son, Greyson.

Arrangements for Firefighter Baldwin’s services are as follows:

  • Visitation: March 3, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, located at 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY 10990.
  • Mass of Christian Burial: March 4, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Stephen The First Martyr, situated at 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY 10990.
  • Private Cremation to follow.

During this challenging time, the Fire Department and the community honor Firefighter Jason E.

Baldwin’s memory and extend heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy of service and dedication will endure.
