Authorities in California are seeking three suspects following a shooting at a house party on Sunday evening that resulted in the deaths of four individuals and left at least three others wounded.
Police were called to the residence in King City, situated along California’s central coast, around 6 p.m. Sunday.
The incident occurred during a party at the house, with multiple individuals gathered in the front yard.
According to a statement from the King City police, a silver Kia pulled up in front of the residence, and three men exited the vehicle, discharging several rounds.
The individuals suspected of involvement were dressed in dark-colored attire and had dark masks covering their heads.
After the shooting, they fled the scene in the car.
According to police statements, three adult men with gunshot injuries were discovered in the front yard, all of whom were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Additionally, four more individuals sustained gunshot wounds. An adult woman among them was transported to a nearby hospital by another individual, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The remaining three victims, all adult men, were taken to another hospital, but their current condition has not been disclosed.
Authorities have not disclosed any names or other identifying details about the individuals affected by the shooting.
The three suspects involved have not been identified as of yet and are deemed armed and dangerous, according to law enforcement officials.
