Obituary: At Joint Base Lewis-McChord(JBLM) one person was discovered deceased on March 7 due to a suicide – Death
On March 7, officials were sent to Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in response to allegations of a gunshot incident. The victim of the shooting was identified as JBLM deceased. The military installation was instantly put under lockdown since it was first believed that there was a problem with an active shooter.
JBLM Law Enforcement had reacted to many complaints of shooting earlier in the afternoon, according to the original reports that were received. However, upon arriving, it was revealed that the event had only involved a single person who had unfortunately passed away by taking their own life.
