James Brennan Obituary, Death – The 7th of March, 2024 was the day when James R. Brennan, who was 77 years old and lived in Houston, Texas, left this world to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ. The 28th of September, 1946 found him being born in Neptune, New Jersey.

He was the son of Kenneth Brennan, who passed away, and Barbara Drake, who later wedded Milton Trzaska. He was the only child of his parents. Cheryl L. Gould became his wife on August 14, 1977, and they were married. They had been married for forty-six years. In their marriage, James and Cheryl were blessed with two children: Christy and Jonathan.

From 1966 until 1970, James was a member of the United States Air Force and served with distinction. James’s relationship with the Lord began during his time spent serving in the Air Force. Soon after he became a member of a Navigators discipleship group, he experienced a strong sense of calling to enter the ministry.

After serving in the Air Force, James received his degree from Asbury College, which is also the place where he met his future wife. Both he and Cheryl had a lot of fun giving their time to serve in jail and hospital ministries when they were in college.

A powerful evangelistic gifting was possessed by James. His relationship with Jesus was a topic that he never stopped discussing during his entire life. He had a lovely singing voice and enjoyed things like drawing and painting, but serving the Lord was the primary emphasis of his life throughout his entire existence.

Following his graduation from college, he went on to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. To become a preacher, he was first ordained in the Methodist Church and then in the Wesleyan Church.

He was a pastor in those ministries for a period of twenty-four years, and in 2012, he joined the congregation of Banner of Love Church, which is located in Port Ewen, Massachusetts. As a member of a group that was tasked with establishing the Banner of Love Church in Houston, Texas, he and his wife traveled to the city in the year 2018. Up until the moment he took his last breath, James never ceased serving the Lord.
