Sharon Brown Obituary, Death – The Davis Corner Volunteer Rescue Squad is deeply saddened to inform you of the demise of Sharon Brown, who was a life member of the organization. We do so with a great deal of understanding and compassion.
Please keep the family in your prayers and thoughts as they go through this difficult time. We would be grateful if you would remember them in your prayers and thoughts. We would like to express our appreciation to Sharon for the numerous years of service that she has offered to Davis Corner, Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services, and the residents of Virginia Beach.
All of her grandchildren, Emily K. Day, Elizabeth G. Day, Jaydan M. Henry, and Emma M. Henry, thought of her as their most treasured grandmother. It is Gerald M. Achatz’s sister, and she is known as “Nancy” Achatz. From four o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Thursday, February 29th, members of the family will be present at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., which is situated at 911 Englewood Avenue, in order to meet and greet friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 1st, at 9:30 AM at St. Amelia Roman Catholic Church, which can be found at 2999 Eggert Road, Tonawanda, New York 14150. Anyone who wishes to attend is more than welcome to do so. It is requested that you all gather in the church.
Sharon’s burial ceremony will be held in Oak Dale Cemetery in Urbana on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at ten o’clock in the morning.
The date and time of the service are still to be determined. The service will take place at the gravesite, and Father Jacob Lindle will preside over it. In lieu of sending flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to St. Amelia R. C. in Sharon’s honor. These contributions can be made in her honor.
