Andrew Hensley Obituary, Death – At the age of 92, Andrew “Jack” Hensley passed away without any pain or suffering on September 14, 2023, at The Hospice Home of Burlington. His health had been deteriorating for the previous four years. On February 13, 1931, he was born in Asheville, North Carolina, to parents named Jim and Vera Hensley. There are five siblings who came before Jack in death: Pansy, Mary, Ollie, Jay, and George. Both of Jack’s parents have passed away. Among the members of his family’s generation, he was the only one still alive.
His wife of 52 years, Louise Buckland Hensley, is the only person who will remember him. Michael Hensley, who resides in Wilmington, North Carolina, and Tim Hensley, who resides in Virginia, are the two sons. Both David Windsor, who resides in Burlington, and Mark Windsor, who resides in Kimesville, are stepsons.
The five grandchildren are as follows: Casey Hensley Caggiano, Jason Windsor, Matthew Windsor, Rachel Windsor Cables, and Taylor Windsor Jones. There are nine great-grandchildren, including Hensley Windsor, Alistair Windsor, and Liam, Blair, and Brooke Caggiano.
