Charlie Bob Obituary, Death – I learned this morning that Charlie Bob, a lovely, witty, and kind Tla’amin kaumatua elder and artist, had gone away. I had met him when I was visiting Phil, our previous support driver, on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.

I cherished spending time with Charlie Bob, hearing about his “girlfriends,” and viewing his most recent inventions. When my cousins Rich and Ngaire and I were hosted by Phil and Hayley in Tisquat Powell River last year, that was the last time I saw him.

Bob was an amazing man with a huge heart. His genuine concern for the welfare of others was modest, altruistic, and courteous. He showed everyone his generosity and optimism. Bob was adamant about helping people, especially during difficult times. His sense of humour and quick wit were legendary. He made humorous jokes with his family even as he lay dying to try to cheer them up.

Bob was an inspiration to hundreds of lives and a blessing to everyone he came in contact with. He was incredibly adored and left a lot of people with happy memories. In the real world, he will be sorely missed. Both in heaven and in our hearts, his spirit shall endure. Bob had a spouse.

Charles C. Bruno and Mae J. Bruno welcomed him into the world on April 5, 1927, in Irvington, New Jersey. His sister, Jean Stillwell, passed away before him, as well as his parents and spouse. After serving as his high school class president, Bob joined the US Navy and was assigned to the USS Tidewater during World War II as a Seaman First Class. Bob was a trailblazing manager in the computer sector following his 1949 Yale University degree in Industrial Administration.

Throughout his career, he worked for General Electric in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Air Products and Chemicals in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Metropolitan Life and Nestle Corporation in New York City. Later on, he focused his career efforts on analytical.
