Robert English Obituary, Death – On Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Kingsford Place in Hawkinsville, Georgia, Robert Lawton English, who was 81 years old and a resident of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away in a calm and serene manner.

The funeral services will be performed in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at eleven o’clock in the morning. Dr. Don McClung will preside over the ceremony.

Hawkinsville, Georgia was the location of Mr. English’s birth on February 26, 1943. His parents, Ben and Bernice English, have since passed away. On a regular basis, Bobby attended services at the First Baptist Church in Hawkinsville. He formerly worked at Continental Can and Lithonia Lighting, according to his resume. During his time in Hartford, Bobby was a member of the Office Club.

His marriage to Lorene English, his son Chuck Albert Marsh, his brother David Harry English, and his sister Bernice Virginia “Jenny” English (Raymond C.) Hardin all passed away before him. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Prior to the ceremony, the family will be present at Clark Funeral Home to meet and greet visitors from ten to eleven in the morning. Simmons Cemetery in Bleckley County will be the location of the interment.
