Case Schoening Obituary, Death – On Friday, March 8, 2024, in Chadron, Nebraska, Case W. Schoening, who was five years old and from Sidney, Nebraska, passed suddenly. The Rosary Service is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at six o’clock in the evening. On the 15th of March, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., there will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sidney. The priests who will preside over the ceremony are Father C.P. Varghese, Father Dan Gilbert, and Father Tim Stoner. Following the burial that will take place, the subsequent burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, which is located in Sidney, Nebraska.
Not only will the services be broadcast live on the Facebook page of the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel, but they will also be recorded and made available for viewing at a later time on our website when they are available. The Gehrig-Stitt Chapel will be open to anybody who wishes to express their condolences to the family on Thursday between the hours of one and four o’clock in the afternoon.
Those who wish to do so are more than welcome to do so. The date and time of the service are still to be determined. A sincere effort is being made to show respect for Case’s memory by carrying out this action.
Whether he was playing with his friends, exploring the outdoors, or cuddling up with his favorite toy, Case embraced life with a sense of wonder and curiosity that endeared him to everyone he came in contact with. This was true regardless of the activity.
There was a tragic turn of events that resulted in Case’s journey being cut short much too soon, leaving his loved ones to suffer with the unimaginable sorrow of his absence. In spite of this, the community has brought itself together in the midst of the tragedy in order to honor the rich memories and treasured moments that were spent with this young and bright soul.
In order to memorialize Case and pay honor to his memory, an effort will be made to accomplish this. During the same time period, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., where the deceased person was laid to rest.
Following the conclusion of the funeral service, this will take place immediately. This is going to take place for the same purpose as the burial service, which is going to take place within the same time period. There are persons who are going through the grieving process as a result of the death of a loved one, and it is intended that Father C.P. Varghese, Father Dan Gilbert, and Father Tim Stoner will preside over the event.
This event will bring consolation and peace to those folks. The overwhelming outpouring of support is a demonstration of the deep influence that Schoening had on individuals who were in his immediate vicinity. This support includes sincere tributes, acts of kindness, and solidarity.
At the same time that the community is grieving the loss of Case Schoening, they are also contemplating the precarious nature of life and the significance of savoring every moment spent with those who are dear to them. His dying serves as a reminder to keep people who are precious to us close, to seize every opportunity for connection, and to live each day with a sense of purpose and thankfulness.
