Jerred Steffler Obituary, Death – I am at a loss for words when it comes to addressing my birthday twin and my brother who is not really the youngest. This has occurred, and I utterly despise it. It hurts so much with my heart. You are extremely dear to my heart, Jerred. Please keep a watchful eye on us, and may you finally find peace, my dear brother. Resting in my heart forever. On Thursday, November 9, 2017, Judith Ann Steffler Hale, who resided in Blackfoot and was 67 years old, passed away at her residence.

She was surrounded by her ten children. To Robert Steffler and Alice Lee Jensen Steffler, Judi was born on July 10, 1950 in Blackfoot, Idaho. Her parents were Robert and Alice. Judi received her high school diploma from Snake River High School in 1968.

She received her education in Moreland. Judi tied the knot with Don E. Hale on February 24, 1968, in the town of Moreland, Idaho. The Idaho Falls LDS Temple was the location where they were sealed for all of eternity and for all of time on September 12, 1969.

He passed away in 2010, which was before her. In addition to being a wife, mother, farmer, substitute teacher, debate judge, truck driver, and community volunteer, her family referred to her as the Queen of the World.

A devout follower of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Judi was a member of the congregation. She actually lived a life of service; she had more callings inside her life than we could possibly list.

In addition to being a member of the Farm Bureau Women’s Association, the Planning and Zoning Committee, the Republican Precinct Committee, and the Lavaside Ditch Company, she also supported her children by serving as a 4-H Leader and frequently volunteering at their respective schools. Judi was honored with the title of Woman of the Year by the Bingham County Farm Bureau in the year 2003.

Working out with her sisters and spending time with her grandchildren were two of her favorite things to do in her spare time. Her parents instilled in her a passion for bowling, and she frequently accompanied her family to bowling alleys.

The great outdoors, tending to the garden, and riding the tractor were all things that she cherished. Her ability to swab was second to none.
