Fairlane Mall Shooting – When Ms. Wilson had finished picking up a pair of sunglasses, she began ranting at the staff of the store and hurling them at her. She also began throwing them at the employee. One of the employees dialed the number for the security department at Fairlane Mall. After Ms. Wilson made statements that were both aggressive and sexually suggestive, the employee responded by saying, “Have a good day” and pointed in the direction of the exit. The comments made by Ms. Wilson were regarded as being offensive.

Ms. Wilson eventually left the store of her own will with the assistance of security after they had been informed. Ms. Wilson was brought to the notice of a security guard at Fairlane Mall by an employee because she was involved in a heated verbal dispute with another woman directly outside of the Solstice Sunglasses store. The employee brought Ms. Wilson to the attention of the security guard. An official from the Fairlane Mall’s security department approached Ms. Wilson at that precise moment and requested that she immediately leave the premises of the mall.

It was at that moment that Ms. Wilson began to argue with the security officer and act in a manner that was disruptive toward him. In a slow and deliberate manner, she continued to make her way to the parking lot from the parking lot outside of JC Penny, which was located in the mall.

While she was in the parking lot, Ms. Wilson continued to rant at the security officials at Fairlane Mall and JC Penney, as well as other pedestrians. She also proceeded to yell at other students. During the course of her approach to her vehicle, she eventually came to a stop and struck up a discussion with a man who was operating a pickup truck for a little period of time.

Ms. Wilson yelled at a security vehicle that was driving by her vehicle as soon as she came at her vehicle. She then opened the door and yelled at the vehicle. Ms. Wilson then exited her vehicle and sped off in the direction of another security vehicle that was going by. This occurred after she had gotten inside her vehicle.

She went back to her vehicle and made motions with her hands while she was yelling at the security officials at Fairlane Mall. She was annoyed with the security personnel. They were driving past in order to obtain her license plate so that they could report it to the Dearborn Police Department, which is located inside the local government of Dearborn.

While this was going on, the security office at Fairlane Mall called the Dearborn police department to report that a woman was causing a disturbance outside of JC Penny. The incident occurred at the same time.

It was instructed to the security officers at the shopping center that they should stay away from Ms. Wilson in order to protect themselves. It was Ms. Wilson who, rather than leaving the parking lot of the shopping center, pulled out of her parking slot and walked away from the parking lot.
