Greg Sutton Death: Greg Sutton, a.k.a. Gonzo, the host of the WKSM Morning Show, has regrettably gone away. He passed away from wounds he sustained in a horrific accident. With a Facebook post stating, “It is with great sadness that 99ROCK is sorry to announce the passing of our brother Gonzo,” 99ROCK declared him dead. Gonzo, who was injured in an automobile accident last month, died away Tuesday.

Education of Greg Sutton
After four years of study, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Horticulture from Western Kentucky University. His expertise spans a broad variety of industries, including copywriting, social media marketing, radio image (including both production and voiceover), radio programming, and on-air broadcasting. He has almost twenty years of expertise managing radio stations, and as a result, he has a great deal of success in terms of Nielsen ratings across a variety of market sizes and dayparts.

Under his direction, he oversaw the creation and implementation of very successful marketing campaigns. Both small enterprises and national corporations are intended beneficiaries of these endeavours.

Furthermore, he has an extensive background in working as a booking agent, national talent buyer, and producer for live events and festivals, particularly in the Southeast.

Career of Greg Sutton
In addition to his career accomplishments, he founded The 1 Lap Ahead Foundation and remains its president. The foundation’s mission is to support families on Florida’s Emerald Coast who have lost a young family member to suicide.

Not only does the foundation provide financial support, but it also spearheads awareness efforts to address the alarming rise in youth suicide and mental health issues. Greg Sutton has a long history in the broadcasting business. He was formerly employed at San Antonio, Texas-based iHeartMedia Inc.

Sutton worked as the Programme Director at Apex Broadcast from March 12, 2011, until October 15, 2015, before joining iHeartMedia. He also shared his knowledge as a specialist in media relations and talent consulting at Club L.A. in Destin, Florida.

Sutton became the Morning Show Host for The Morning Movement at 99ROCK in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, because of his love of radio and entertainment. His unique blend of rock and roll songs and lighthearted banter there won him over fans and made him a popular personality on the Gulf Coast Rock Station.
