Butchie Goulette Obituary, Death – This is a very sad day. Yesterday, we grieved the loss of one of the Great ones. Butchie Goulette, who was more than just a brother in law, passed away unexpectedly. A genuine companion.

The state of Louisiana On Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at two o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services for Cathy Diane Goulette, who was 52 years old and lived in Transylvania, Louisiana, would be place at Melbourne Baptist Church in Alsatia, Louisiana.

The ceremony will be presided over by Reverends Kelly Coleman and Butch Goodman. Next, the burial will take place at the Providence Memorial Cemetery, which is located in Lake Providence. The Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence is in charge of the arrangements for the final services.

Shreveport, Louisiana’s LSU Health Sciences Center was the location where Cathy passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Her son, David Keith Goulette Jr., as well as her parents, Bernard Gardner and Helen Jones Gardner, passed away before she did.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David “Keith” Goulette, who resides in Transylvania, Louisiana; her daughter, Katie Goulette, who also resides in Transylvania, Louisiana; her grandson, Mason Faircloth, who also resides in Transylvania, Louisiana; her brother, Charles Gardner, who resides in Oak Grove, Louisiana; her five sisters, Pam Gardner of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Patricia Gardner of Minden, Louisiana, Norma Gardner of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Evelyn Clark of Oak Grove, Louisiana, and Lisa Gardner of West Monroe, Louisiana; and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Ken Goulette, Jacob Harrison, Jamie Webb, Calvin Johnson, William Breland, and Jonathan Gardner are the individuals who will serve as pallbearers. At the Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence, the family will be present to greet friends on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, between the hours of five and nine o’clock in the evening. It was on June 29, 1984 that she tied the knot with Joseph “Butch” Goulet.

They were together for a prosperous number of years. Attending garage sales, quilting, sewing, beading, playing slot machines, and most importantly, spending time with her family were all activities that she enjoyed doing.

A son named Terry Goulet, her parents Ignatius and Sadie, her brothers Philip “Buzzy” Jackson, Ignatius “Ping” Jackson Jr., and Adrian Jackson, and her sister Claudette “Yiya” Ross all passed away before her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
