GoFundMe, Obituary,Death: Aimee Krans Mebane, NC, passed away on March 13
Aimee Krans Death: On March 13, Aimee Krans, a resident of Mebane, North Carolina, tragically died away. She was the spouse of Steve Krans, who owned Junction 70 & Martinho’s. Her blue eyes crinkled with friendliness as her warm grin made her approach life.
She was characterized as charming, lively, and kind. The Mebane Woman’s Club reports that Aimee led our club through COVID with success throughout her two stints as president of the MWC. Her years of HR expertise made her an ideal fit for the role of “keeping an organization together during a pandemic.” She carried herself with compassion, elegance, and humor.
Even though 2020 and 2021 were among the worst years in our club’s history, Aimee managed to keep everyone motivated. She even organized a virtual Christmas party where participants could play BINGO with drink tokens!
Aimee stood up for the environment, underprivileged people, and kids. She played a key role in the construction of our local high school’s new fieldhouse and promoted volunteering as a means of supporting the educational system. Aimee encouraged the club to buy a new fence for the Mebane Community Garden as another way she supported the Environment CSP.
Through her volunteer work with Crosslink Sandwich Ministry, SAFE, and Habitat for Humanity, Aimee demonstrated her love and commitment to her community and helping others. Aimee valued policy and process, from finances to bylaws, and understood that both were necessary to run a successful organization.
We will never forget the influence she had on all of us, even though our community is affected by her amazing achievements as our club’s leader. Steve and their three lovely, little girls, Ett, Emilyn, and Eliza, were left behind by Aimee.
Gabriela Peguero set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist Aimee’s family in raising money for her memorial and burial arrangements. We are very sorry for Imee’s passing, since she was not only a model boss but also a wonderful teammate.
