Leonard Oncheck Obituary, Death – How are you? Unfortunately, my husband of nearly four decades passed away unexpectedly, and I am at a loss for words to adequately convey how I feel. His absence is keenly felt by me because he was my closest buddy.

St. Luke’s Hospital – Allentown campus was the location where Leonard R. Oncheck, Jr., 63, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

In addition to being the spouse of Annette M. (Stibrany) Oncheck, he had been married to her for a total of 39 years.Having been born in Catasauqua on November 26, 1960, Leonard was the son of the late Betty (Young) Oncheck and Leonard R. Oncheck, Sr., both of whom had passed away.

Itwas at Travel Impressions in Bethlehem that he took his retirement.Prior to that, he had positions at K. Heeps, Inc. in Allentown, as well as Canteen Corp., which was a vendor associated with Mack Trucks, Inc. In Orefield, Leonard attended the Roman Catholic Church of St. Joseph the Worker as a member of the congregation.

He had reached the rank of Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus, Orefield Council #10921, where he was a member.He was a former Scout Master of Troop #150, Orefield, a North Valley District Commissioner, a vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, and an L.O.S.T. Director at Trexler Scout Reservation. Leonard was a lifelong supporter of The Boy Scouts of America.

He was also a member of the Order of the Arrow. In addition to his devoted wife, Annette, he is survived by his sons Michael A. Oncheck, Daniel J. Oncheck, and Mark A. Oncheck, all of Allentown; Robert W. Oncheck and his wife, Elisabeth, of Harrisburg; his siblings Thomas Oncheck and Lisa Oncheck, both of Danielsville; and his nephew Nicholas Stibrany, of Slatington.

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, visiting hours will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., located at 4906 Route 309 in Schnecksville. Family and friends are welcome to offer their condolences during this time.

AChristian burial in the form of a Mass will be held at 10:30 in the morning. Allentown, Pennsylvania, at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, which is located at 1040 Flexer Avenue, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.Laurel Cemetery in Allentown will be the location of the interment afterwards the Mass.
