A shooting incident on Beale Street claimed the life of a man.
According to police reports, the incident occurred early Sunday morning around 1:54 a.m. near Jerry Lee Lewis’ Cafe & Honky Tonk.
The victim was rushed to Regional One Hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have detained one suspect in connection with the shooting.
