Simon Holliday Obituary, Death – I have been left with a heart that is beyond full of brokenness as a result of the news that my wonderful friend, comrade, and bandmate, Simon Holliday, has passed away.
I had the absolute fortune of playing many shows while Si and I were on tour, traveling, and rooming together. We were like two peas in a pod because of our likeness in terms of our ridiculousness, and I got the opportunity to play innumerable performances. The vast bulk of our interactions took place through the use of messenger.
He was a really beautiful human being, in addition to being an extraordinarily talented musician and sound engineer. First and foremost, he was a very bright musician. Despite the fact that you haven’t been able to get rid of me in such a straightforward manner, I’m going to miss you so much, Si. I’ll see you again at The Great Gig in the Sky.
You have my love, my friend. We are going to miss you because you were a man who was filled with pleasure, wit, and beauty. It is a painful realization to realize that we will never see you again, despite the fact that you are no longer in pain. We are going to miss you.
I promise that Isla will be taken care of by us, that Marnie will be watched over by us, and that Claire will be watched over by my mother. I give you my word on all of these things.
We will be there for them anytime they require my assistance, at any hour of the day or night, and we will be Isla’s mouthy backbone and best buddy when we are required to be either of those things! I hope that you are doing well up there, Scarlet, with all of my love and all of my heart. Monge, it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet you.
You were undoubtedly the respectable young man, the restrained individual who was respected and treasured by a large number of people as a result of your qualities.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being such a wonderful friend to Lloyd and for having Isla, who has grown up with a Tianna and established such a lovely friendship. I am much appreciative of both of these things. A further benefit is that Marnie will be reminded of how lovely each and every one of you was.
What a fantastic person you are, a genuine inspiration that no one should ever give up fighting, I can now see where the ladies get their resolve from. I am very impressed by you. An individual who was truly sincere, kind, and caring, and who was taken away from each and every one of us much too soon.
