Anita Davis Harris Death, Heartfelt Farewell To Anita Davis Harris Family – Oakwood, St. Louis, Oakwood University
Death Anita Davis Harris Obituary – Yesterday, March 21, 2024, Anita (Davis) Harris, who had been battling cancer for a long time, passed away tragically. Two memorial services are going to be held: one will be held in Maryland, where she resided for more than twenty years, and the other will be held in St. Louis, Missouri. Details are going to be provided. During this difficult time, we would want to express our gratitude for the prayers that have been sent for the Davis family. She is the devoted mother of Michael Logan Harris and Debbie, who is married to him. A mother who is deeply loved by her children, James Harris and Alyssa, as well as by her husband, Kyle Gentile.
My sincere and heartfelt greetings to the Great Mother of Lily Grace, Leo James Harris, and Jack Harrison Gentile. Joan Hayden and Ginger Elder, who passed away, are her siblings. She is their sister. Over the course of many years, Anita worked as an Office Aide in the Pennsauken School District, namely at School #5. She had a deep affection for both the students and their families. After School #3 was shut down, she decided to retire from her position at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School.
In the years following her retirement, she worked with her son at Southampton School #1, where she had the opportunity to connect with both the students and the teachers while delivering supplies to the classroom environment. She attended the 1st Baptist Church of Moorestown and, more recently, St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Moorestown. She was an active member of both of these churches.
Anita was a woman who read a lot. a fastidious dresser who cherished rural crafts, particularly those that were modest, and who had a deep affection for birds. It was common for her to request that her son fill the feeders so that she may take pleasure in observing them.
A devoted follower of the British Royal Family and Queen Elizabeth, Mum-Mum was a royalist at heart. Many members of her family referred to her as the “Queen” while she was in her younger years. At a later time, there will be a memorial service held. She attended the 1st Baptist Church of Moorestown and, more recently, St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Moorestown.
