Shooting: In a home shooting in Bucks County, Taylor Daniel Falls Township’s Andre Gordon murders his children’s mother.
Death of Taylor Daniel: Those closest to Taylor Daniel have said that she was constantly watching out for her family. Daniel was the first to think about her girls when their father, 26-year-old Andre Gordon Jr., showed up armed on Saturday at the Bucks County house she lived with her mother, brother, and kids. While she called the police, she gave the order for everyone to hide.
Gordon, who was 26 years old at the time, shot and killed his children’s mother as she was on the phone for help, according to Nancy Daniel, after smashing through the front door. The police said that on that specific day, Gordon was the cause of three people’s deaths and two additional car thefts. The Daniel family was unaware of the reasons for his escape to Trenton, where he led the police on a nine-hour search.
According to an affidavit made public on Monday, Gordon is accused of going on a violent rampage that began early on Saturday morning. In the course of a Trenton robbery, he stole a silver 2013 Nissan Altima. He thereafter made his way to Falls Township, where at 8:52 a.m., the police were sent to the unit block of Viewpoint Lane in response to a complaint of an armed person.
According to the affidavit, Gordon was shown on camera seeming to bust glass on the front door with a rifle before pointing the weapon into the house to conduct further investigation. Based on the evidence collected at the scene, it is believed that he fired shots into the flat via a broken window.
In a first-floor room at the back of the home, officers found Gordon’s thirteen-year-old sister Kera Gordon and his fifty-two-year-old stepmother Karen Gordon dead from gunshot wounds. The authorities also found spent shell shells, bullet holes in a door and wall, and blood on the ground.
According to the authorities, three additional Gordon family members were present during the shooting in addition to Andre Gordon Sr., Karen Gordon’s husband and Kera’s father. These people included a toddler and another male. The older Gordon said that his wife awakened him and told him that their younger son was at the front door.
The authorities were informed of this information by the senior Gordon. According to his statement, he had opened the front door, spoken with his son, and then closed it. The younger Gordon allegedly started bashing the front door while the older Gordon was demonstrating the weapon, shattering the glass in the process.
The older Gordon then claimed to have heard gunfire. Nine minutes had passed since the first call from Viewpoint Lane when Taylor Daniel made the police contact. He said that someone was carrying an armament on the Edgewood Lane unit block. Nancy Daniel heard gunshots, came out of her bedroom, and attacked Gordon with an axe handle.
Gordon then gave her a hard blow to the head with the rifle and ran away, trying to get away from the cops who showed there a little while later. When the police got at Edgewood Lane at 9:05 in the morning, they found Taylor Daniel lying on the ground bleeding from a gunshot wound. The moment of the tragedy, her death was verified.
