Maureen O’Donoghue Obituary, Death – In the presence of her cherished family, Maureen O’Donoghue (formerly Swift), of 38 Glaslough Street, Monaghan, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22nd, at Cavan General Hospital.
After her husband Liam, grandson Aaron, parents Eugene and Alice Swift, and brother Tony passed away, she was left with only her siblings.
The family of Maureen, including her children Pauline (Anthony), Maurina (Kieran), Michael (Helen), and Amanda (Paul), as well as her beloved grandchildren Daryl, Rachel, Nathan, Siăn, Lauren, Niamh, Oisin, and Emily, and her great-grandchildren Liam,
Cian, and Cillian, as well as her brothers Eugene, Brian, Martin, and Gerry, her sisters Bernadette (Eardley) and Eilish (Cagney), her in-laws, her nieces and nephews, her neighbors, and everyone who knew and loved her, will always hold a special place in their hearts.
On Saturday, the 23rd, from 6 to 9 o’clock, and on Sunday, the 24th, from 3 to 9 o’clock, and on Monday, the 25th, from 3 to 9 o’clock, Maureen will repose at her house.
Tuesday morning, the 26th, at 10:15 a.m., Maureen’s funeral procession will depart from her home and make its way to St. Macartan’s Cathedral for a funeral mass at 11 a.m. After the mass, Maureen and her husband will be laid to rest in Laturcan cemetery.
