DeathMichael McKenzie Obituary, Alexander City, Alabama – Mr. Michael Morrell McKenzie, who resided in Alexander City, Alabama, will be laid to rest at the Hillabee Baptist Church on Monday, March 25, 2024, at one o’clock in the afternoon. The burial service will be held at the Hillabee Baptist Church.

During the time of his passing, Mr. McKenzie had reached the age of 65 years. Reverend Chase Clower, Reverend Bill Coady, and Reverend Dru Mattox are going to be the pastors that will be in charge of presiding over the event. The burial, which will take place after the service, will take place at Hillview Memorial Park. Hillview Memorial Park is the location. In the event that the family decides to host a get-together for their friends on Monday, March 25, 2024, between the hours of 11:00 am and 12:30 pm, Hillabee Baptist Church is going to be the location where the gathering will take place.

Michael was born on October 6, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, and he became a resident of Georgia. Joe was born in the city of Atlanta. A life that was characterized by commitment, whether it was to his family, his career, or his goals, Michael’s life was one that was marked by devotion. His life was characterized by this commitment, which was a defining quality.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda McKenzie, of Alexander City, AL; his daughter, Bethany Grogan and her husband Mike; his cherished grandchildren, McKayla and Braxton Grogan; his sisters, Judith Ann McKenzie of Norcross, GA, and Margaret Mundy McKenzie, Jr. of Tucker, GA; his brother, Sam Phillips McKenzie, Jr. and his wife Lyn of Greensboro, GA; his brother-in-law, Alan Roberts and his wife Kris of Callahan, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Both Michael McKenzie’s mother, Margaret Mundy McKenzie, and his father, Judge Sam Phillips McKenzie, passed away before him. Michael McKenzie was the only child of his parents. The only kid they had was Michael, who was the only child of the two. Michael devoted himself to the position of Executive Director of Arise Transportation, which he held within the context of his professional life. During the time that he was working in this role, the effectiveness of his leadership and vision was critical to the expansion of the business.

Everyone who had the chance to collaborate with him was able to recognize that he possessed a strong work ethic and was tremendously dedicated to ensuring that the best possible results were achieved. Hillabee Baptist Church provided Michael, a man of deep faith, with both support and a sense of belonging.

Michael was a loyal member of the church, because it afforded him both. It was at Hillabee Baptist Church that he experienced a sense of belonging and had the assistance he needed. Because Michael was such a devoted supporter of his team, the Georgia Bulldogs, it was impossible to avoid catching the contagious enthusiasm that he had for the college football team.
