According to family relatives, Mr. Raydell Estrada, Class of 2022, of Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, March 21. His family and close friends are in need of the prayers of the whole Archbishop Shaw High School community at this time.
Raydell, the son of Mr. Carlos José Barreto, an ASHS 2003 alumnus, and Mrs. Sulima Barreto, was a bright student with a promising future. The impact on his community of this tragedy is immense.
Although he currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana, his hometown is Manati, a town and municipality in the Cuban province of Las Tunas.
You would have known Raydell to be a man who exuded kindness, love, and genuine concern to everyone he came into contact with. He was one of the best things that had ever happened to everyone he loved.
It is impossible to express how much he meant to everyone who knew him; he gave selflessly and loved with passion, and his smiles and happiness changed and impacted the lives of numerous people in his neighborhood. Regardless of how little time he spent with someone, he always left a positive impression.
Those who were close to him would only be saddened by his passing.
