Two Males Who Opened Fire On Police Official And Killed A Cop Arrested

Cop Killer Aprrehended – Two males were named by the Idaho State Police on Wednesday morning as victims of an alleged ambush at a hospital in Boise.

The victims were named as Gerald “Don” Henderson, 72, of Orofino, and James L. Mauney, 83, of Juliaetta, according to the state police.

According to officials, 31-year-old Skylar Meade and 28-year-old Nicholas Umphenour planned an attack on Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in the Boise Bench and then escaped in a stolen Honda Civic. Boise police had previously stated that when returning Idaho prisoner Meade from the hospital for self-inflicted injuries, Umphenour opened fire on officials from the Idaho Department of Corrections. Police fired and killed a third cop.

Following a countrywide search, Meade and Umphenour were apprehended and taken into arrest near Twin Falls on Thursday afternoon. According to the police, they are both affiliated with the racist prison gang the Aryan Knights.

On Friday afternoon, both individuals made an appearance before Benjamin Harmer, the Twin Falls Magistrate. As part of the arrest warrants obtained for Meade and Umphenour, Harmer noted that their bail were set at $2 million. Extradition to Ada County to face a different court is in the works unless the men post bail.

According to a news statement from the state police, the suspects were seen by Mauney in Juliaetta on Wednesday when he was walking his dogs. This was before they were detained.

According to the police, a silver 2019 Chrysler Pacifica was used to abduct Mauney and his dogs and drive them eastbound. According to the announcement, his body was discovered later in Nez Perce County, close to the abandoned Honda Civic that the suspects had stolen in Boise.
