Death of Carlos Medina, El Paso, Texas A man who became stuck within a water tank was discovered dead on Saturday. The male individual who needed to be rescued was reported to Trempealeau County Dispatch at approximately 5:18 p.m. He was trapped in the City of Blair’s water tank. The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office released a news release with this information.

According to a report by the authorities, the person was working for the City of Blair and was taking silt out of the tank with a 90-foot-long tube. It was about 45 minutes into his task, and he was still wearing his wetsuit and scuba gear. He reportedly told his coworkers that he was becoming cold, yet he persisted in working.

The person may have become hypothermic, which would have reduced hand strength and mobility, according to coworkers’ speculations. Despite their best efforts to extricate him, he was stuck in the ninety-foot suction tube. The person in issue was sitting still around six feet below the water’s surface when rescue workers arrived at the scene. Although attempts were made, actions that could have prevented deaths were not successful.

Authorities in Rock County have identified the man who died this week in what looks to have been a hunting accident. The individual has been identified as Beloit resident Patrick Preston, 29, as per the sheriff’s office on Saturday. The shooting was said to have happened on Friday at 12:30 p.m. This occurred when an 11-year-old boy went to a home and told the owner that his father had been shot in the area.

Emergency personnel located Preston in a somewhat tree-covered region of forest, with an apparent abdominal wound. After being taken to a hospital, it was discovered that he had died. The sheriff’s office has concluded that the gunshot was “a tragic hunting accident” based on the evidence gathered at the scene.

Preston is a town in the state of Wisconsin, specifically in Adams County. There were 1,393 people living there in 2010 when the census was taken. Located inside the town is the unincorporated neighborhood of Cottonville. Additionally, the towns contained the abandoned townships of Fordham and Roche a Cri.
