Death, Angela Allen’s obituary: cause of death, family grieves the devastating loss of a beloved woman

Death of Angela May Allen: On Friday, March 24, from three to six o’clock in the evening, the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport will host a gathering and celebration of life in honor of Angela May Allen, 53, a resident of Bettendorf.

A memorial service will be held at Parkside Grill, situated at 2307-5th Avenue in Moline, after the service. Angie died peacefully and quietly on March 17, 2023, at home with her family by her side.

Memorial contributions can be made to a fund that will give her children access to educational possibilities. On January 17, 1970, in Macomb, Illinois, Jeffrey Allen and Judith “Judy” Yeoman welcomed a daughter, Angela May Allen. Yeoman was her mother’s maiden name.

She attended a number of colleges, including Scott Community College, St. Thomas, and the University of Iowa. She also graduated from Minnesota’s Horst Cosmetology School with the best accolades. Angie has been the owner and operator of Hairazors, a business situated in Downtown Bettendorf, since 2001.

Throughout her illness, Angie was incredibly grateful for the love and support she received from her dedicated team, which allowed the shop to keep running smoothly. Her twins were her life’s purpose! She was devoted to both Jack and Isabel, and she did everything within her power to protect them and be a caring mother.

Angie supported Jack and Isabel and was a member of both the Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts. She loved going camping, especially at Shady Acres in New Windsor, Illinois, where she had a place to stay.

Is Angela Allen Still Alive? By Angie’s children are the ones left to treasure her memory: Dave Mohr, the father of Jack and Isabel, her mother Judy Yeoman of Bettendorf, her father Jeffrey (Ellen) Allen of Berthal, Colorado, stepfather Bill Lechner of Muscatine, who called Angie “Charlie” with affection, brother David (Megan) Lechner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, grandmother Berniece “Bonnie” Yeoman of Harpers Ferry, Iowa, mother of Dave Mohr, Connie Mohr-Wright, and a large extended family, along with “sisters from another mister” Tammy Cale, Trish Thobe, and Amy Thibodeaux were among the individuals involved.

Her grandmother Evelyn, her grandfather Don Allen, and her grandfather Theodore “Bill” Yeoman all died before she was even born. If you would like to order memorial trees or send flowers to Angela May Allen’s family in her honor, please stop by our floral shop.
