Jimmy Hollins II Obituary, Death Cause – Officers from the Kewanee Police Department responded to a report in the 100 block of Houle Avenue on March 24, 2024, concerning a person who was discovered lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound.

The report was received at around 7:31 p.m. It was a male who had been discovered lying motionless on the roadside, according to the complaint. The first thing that they discovered when they arrived at the scene was a male victim who had been shot in the neck.

An investigation revealed that the victim had been shot. Before the paramedics from the Kewanee Fire Department arrived at the scene, immediate measures were taken in attempt to save the life of the individual. Their arrival was delayed.

The man, who was identified as Jimmy Hollins II (31) and was from Kewanee, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the attempts that were made by the personnel who responded to the incident. The victim’s name was Jimmy Hollins II.

Officers from the Kewanee Police Department began searching the surrounding area for a person responsible for the incident and obtaining testimony from witnesses as soon as the incident took place. An investigation into a homicide that took place earlier has been initiated by detectives from the Kewanee Police Department.

Additional aid was requested from the Henry Mercer County Investigative Task Force, the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators, and the Henry County Office of Emergency Management.

This was in addition to the fact that they had already requested assistance from these organizations. During the course of the investigation, the detectives are making a significant amount of effort to pursue the leads that have been investigated.
