At least one dead after active shooter situation in Manchester, Ohio
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations has been summoned to probe a double homicide in Adams County that occurred on Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place near Sixth Street in Manchester, Ohio.
The Adams County sheriff sought assistance from BCI’s Crime Scene Unit and Special Investigations Unit to conduct the investigation.
According to reports, the mayor has advised that the Village of Manchester and all businesses within it should initiate a lockdown.
It’s advisable to avoid traveling to Manchester presently, as the area remains an active crime scene.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
