Joseph Baker Jr. Accident, Death – Joseph Baker Jr., a cherished member of the Connellsville community, lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident at around 3:40 p.m. today. The Fayette County Coroner’s office responded to the scene.
At 4:30 p.m., the 25-year-old Joseph was declared deceased at the scene. We ask that you keep his family in your prayers and thoughts during this extremely trying time. Our hearts are with his family.
Details of the Accident
In Bullskin Township, the collision happened on Route 119 close to George’s Trading Post. The terrible collision happened close to Kingview Road, just south of the county line, while Joseph Baker Jr. was riding a Honda motorcycle.
Two other cars were involved in the collision: an Infiniti SUV and a Chevrolet Cavalier. All those involved suffered greatly in the aftermath, even though state police are still investigating the precise cause of the crash.
Responding to the Tragedy
Emergency responders, including the Bullskin Township Volunteer Fire Department and state police, rushed to the scene to provide assistance. Regretfully, they were unable to save Joseph Baker Jr. While investigators worked, both directions of Route 119 between East Huntingdon Township and Bullskin Township were closed.
