Alex Jackson Death – It was reported on Saturday by the Maine State Police that Joseph Chute, 30, was taken into custody without any complications on Friday and sent to the Androscoggin County Jail. It is expected that Chute will make his initial appearance in Androscoggin County Superior Court on Monday. He is now being held without the possibility of bail.

On May 12, 2023, Alex Jackson, who was 34 years old at the time, was reported missing by his family. This new information comes on the heels of a search inquiry that lasted for almost an entire year. It has been reported by the police that they have not yet located Jackson or retrieved his body. Up until this point, Jackson was suspected of being missing, according to a representative with the Maine State Police on Saturday.

Within the scope of their investigation, a number of law enforcement agencies were involved, including the New Hampshire State Police, the Lewiston Police Department, the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, and the Windham Police Department.

It was close to the Turner region when Jackson was last seen. Patricia Jackson, his mother, stated in an interview with the Portland Press Herald in the spring of a previous year that her son frequently traveled back roads in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, using his flatbed trailer to transport products for farms.

In North Yarmouth, three days after his disappearance, his dog, Hazel, was discovered. The police stated that they believed he was preparing to travel to the upstate region of Vermont with his dog. No trace of Jackson or his truck could be found anywhere.

Patricia Jackson stated that it was rare for her son to not communicate with her. According to what she said in the spring of last year, he used to check in on her and his girlfriend multiple times every day.

Over the course of several years, he had been residing in Windham with his mother; however, at the time of his disappearance, he had purchased property and was making preparations to construct his own home.
