Janice Elaine Freedle Cook Obituary, Resident of High Point, Has Unexpectedly Died at age 73

Janice Elaine Freedle Cook Obituary, Death – Janice Elaine Freedle Cook, 73 years old and residing in High Point, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Pennybyrn at Maryfield in Jamestown.

Her passing marks the end of a life that was lived with passion and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Janice Freedle was born in Davidson County, North Carolina, on November 22, 1950. Her parents, Raymond Freedle and Lena Mae Parrish, had already passed away. Her brother, Sammy Freedle, died before she did. In addition to her, her parents and siblings all died before she was born.

Her loved ones will always hold in high regard Janice’s selfless legacy of love and devotion. Her daughter Karen Bowers lives in Jamestown, and her son Brian Cook and his wife Tina are among her surviving children. The ones who will honor her memory are her brother James Freedle and his wife Vickie of Lilburn, Georgia.

Chastity Brinkley, Alyssa Martin, and Copeland Bowers are her grandchildren; Oliver Leonard and Emma Seech are her great-grandchildren; and they will all miss her greatly. Even her great-great-grandchildren will mourn her passing. Her unique niece and caretaker, Laura Gregg, along with her husband Jae of Lexington and a slew of other nieces and nephews, are among those mourning her loss.

Beyond her close family, Janice’s influence reached far and wide among those fortunate enough to have known her. She touched the lives of those around her with her gentleness, generosity, and unwavering love, and she left an everlasting impression on their hearts.

Once Janice is laid to rest, her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence. She may be physically absent from this world, but the memories of those who loved her very much will keep her light shining brightly and guiding others.

The chapel of the Thomasville funeral home of J.C. Green and Sons will host a funeral service honoring Janice’s life on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at eleven in the morning. Following the conclusion of the service, her burial will be held at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1410 Lexington Avenue, Thomasville, North Carolina.

The funeral home will be open from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, so friends and family can pay their respects. The hours of visitation preceding the funeral are as follows.
