Judy Belle (Brasel) Villines Obituary, Death – Judy Belle (Brasel) Villines, 83, died away quietly at Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, Arkansas, on March 29, 2024. Judy Brasel was born on January 21, 1941, in Parthenon, Arkansas.
Her parents were Bill and Faye Brasel. Judy lived a life filled with love, commitment, and helping others. Her brother Gene Brasel, parents Bill and Faye Brasel, and husband James all passed away before her.
Judy departs from a devoted family to treasure her memory. Her siblings, Bobby Brasel and his wife Glenda, and sister Nadine Claus, also survive her. In addition, Judy’s son Jimmy Villines and his wife Sonya, as well as her daughter Beth Blake and her husband Tom, leave a legacy.
She loved her grandchildren, Amber Blake, Nathan Blake, and his wife Melinda, and Courtney Rushing and her husband Chad. She was incredibly happy when she was around Charley, Camryn, Maddie, and James, her great-grandchildren. In addition, Judy leaves behind a large number of cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends that she treasured.
Judy took on many roles throughout her life with enthusiasm and commitment. She was a dedicated housewife who found contentment in taking care of her family and furnishing a cozy and supportive environment.
Judy loved to garden, and her lush greenery enhanced the beauty and abundance of her surroundings. Her passion for basketball demonstrated her vivacious personality and steadfast devotion to her favorite teams.
Judy actively participated in both the Lead Hill Church of God and Peel Full Gospel Church, and her faith played a major role in her life. She gave freely of her time to the Lead Hill School, where her contributions to the FFA greenhouse and her devoted work in the hospitality room during basketball games had a big influence. She loved spending time with her family in Newton County, and her devotion to her community was evident in the many get-togethers they attended.
Her love of canning garden produce, which she used to nourish and delight people around her, is another way that her legacy endures. Judy touched many people’s lives with her kindness, warmth, and giving spirit; everyone who had the honor of knowing her will miss her dearly.
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM, there will be a visitation at Peel Full Gospel Church, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Donations in honor of Judy’s dedication to teaching and providing compassionate end-of-life care can be made to Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, Arkansas, and the Lead Hill FFA greenhouse instead of sending flowers.
