Christian Samay Obituary, Death Mountain Lakes, New Jersey; student passing at Bucknell University
Christian Samay Death Certificate and Cause of Death Administrators at Bucknell University made the statement on Sunday, saying that a student had died during the weekend on campus. John Bravman, the university president, recognized a 24 year old student from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, by the name of Christian Samay. Samay was born and reared in one of the boroughs of Morris County, a suburb of New York City.
Samay attended a private liberal arts school in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, which is situated about sixty miles north of Harrisburg, the state capital. Director of Media Relations Samay was a senior at Bucknell University. Samay was found dead at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity site on Saturday at about 1:45 p.m., according to the information supplied by the authorities. This was the moment the University Department of Public Safety arrived at the scene.
Regarding where his bones were found or how they came to be believed to have died, the institution withheld no more information. Authorities did not provide any more information, just saying that Samay’s death did not seem unusual in any way.
When Samay’s body is examined by the Union County Coroner’s Office, they will be able to ascertain the reason of his death and the way he died. The school made the announcement that it would provide counseling services to pupils who were impacted by the passing.
The university president said in his statement that Samay’s death had nothing to do with the notice the school got less than twenty-four hours before concerning an active shooter.
This notification was issued in response to a complaint that the Pennsylvania State Police investigated and found to be a Virginia-based hoax.
On Friday about 7:15 p.m. Eastern Technology time, a post was published on the school’s Facebook page claiming that there was an active shooter on campus and that the police were responding to reports of a lockdown. Shortly after the authorities announced in another post that they had gotten the notice and an all-clear from public safety, the lockdown was lifted.
