Diane White Obituary, Death – Born on January 16, 1962 in Denison, Iowa, Diane Marie (Heistand) White was born in the United States. Lawrence Heistand and Rose (Probasco) Heistand were her parents. She was named after her mother. Her graduation from Woodbine High School in 1980 was the year she received her high school diploma. Woodbine is the place where she was born and raised.

Diane continued her education at Dana College in Blair, where she eventually earned a degree in education. She ultimately graduated from the institution. In August of 1984, Diane and Fred White exchanged their vows and became husband and wife in the state of Montana. After they had finished their studies at the university, they continued to reside in the married housing that Blair provided for them.

The death of Diane was preceded by the passing of her brother, Carl Heistand, as well as her two sisters, Rita Scichilone and Norma Heistand. Her parents had also passed away prior to her existence.

She is survived by her husband Fred White of Neola, Iowa; four sons, Colton White and Brenna of Neola, Caleb White and his wife Katie of Shelby, Iowa, Ethan White of Princeton, Kansas, and Emmett White and his fiancée Kelbi Smith of Wayne, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Braylee, Brantley, Nora and Callie; two brothers, Norman Heistand and his wife, Dorothy of Vinton, Iowa and Henry Heistand of Cortez, Colorado; sister, Margaret and her husband Gary Reihman of Williamsburg, Iowa and many other relatives and friends.

Following her successful pursuit of a position in the Tri-Center School District as a remedial reading teacher for junior high students, Diane eventually made the transition to teaching fourth grade in that educational institution.

Almost immediately after she finished her Master of Education Administration degree, she was presented with the opportunity to become the Principal of Tri Center Elementary School. Diane decided to retire in 2017, after having worked for the Tri-Center School District for a total of thirty-three productive years.

Diane lived each day to the fullest, from going to Goodwill to find treasures to cooking delectable meals, tending to her garden with care, playing cribbage with friends and family, and following her boys’ school activities with pride while coaching wrestling from the stands. She did all of these things with a smile on her face. Diane’s enthusiasm for life shone through in each and every one of these activities.

Those who had the good fortune to be in her presence were filled with an incredible amount of joy as a result of her passion for music and the happiness she discovered in her role as a grandmother. Saturday, March 30, 2024 was the day that Diane passed away. She was 62 years, two months, and 14 days old at the time of her passing. In the moments leading up to her passing, she was encircled by her loved ones.
