Hoormazd Javidbakht Obituary, Death Cause – Students from two different high schools in the vicinity have been killed in separate car incidents that are not related to each other, according to the police.
According to a report from the Powell Police Department, Hoormazd Javidbakht, 17, a student at Olentangy Liberty High School, passed away on Friday as a result of injuries he incurred little over two weeks ago when he was struck by an SUV when he was crossing a four-lane street in Powell in an unlawful manner.
According to the police report, Javidbakht was crossing Sawmill Parkway at Village Club Drive on foot on March 14 at approximately 7:45 p.m., which is approximately seven minutes after twilight. He was crossing the street despite the fact that there was a pedestrian no crossing signal. We hurried Javidbakht to a nearby hospital as soon as we could. According to the athletics page of Olentangy Liberty, Javidbakht was placed on the roster of the Olentangy Liberty boys varsity track team for the 2022/2023 school year. The statement stated that Javidbakht had passed away on Friday and that he had participated in chorus, track, and cross country at the school.
Cooper Nofal, a student at Westerville North High School, apparently passed away recently as a result of injuries experienced in a minibike accident, according to an email issued to families by Principal Kurt Yancey on Sunday morning. This incident is not related to the one that occurred at Westerville North High School.
According to the email, Nofal was a junior at the high school, which was participating in spring break the previous week. On Sunday, there was no additional information available regarding Nofal or the incident, including the time and location exactly where the accident took place.
