Jim Greiner Obituary, Death – The Greater Ohio Coaster Club (GOCC) is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved friend and devoted member, Jim Greiner, who fought a courageous battle against a chronic illness before passing away. Jim had a profound and priceless impact on our community, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he had the honor to know. Jim provided unmatched support and assistance both in my first year as President and during his time as the editor. His knowledge and commitment were crucial to the redesign of our previous website; without his ceaseless work, it would not have succeeded.
Even though our infrastructure was outdated, Jim used his extraordinary expertise to rebuild the website several times so that it would continue to function until we could make the necessary updates. His kindness, endurance, and dedication to our club embodied his love for the neighborhood he cherished.
Apart from his contributions to GOCC, Jim was a remarkable person whose kindness, honesty, and unwavering loyalty were well-known. For those fortunate enough to call him friends, he left a lasting impression on everyone he came into contact with because of his genuine warmth and compassion.
Let us celebrate Jim’s legacy by remembering the happiness and laughter he brought into our lives as we think back on our treasured moments spent with him. Whether it was just spending time together or exchanging tales of exhilarating roller coaster rides, Jim’s presence enhanced our time together and strengthened our relationships.
As we ride our favorite coasters this summer, let’s take a moment to honor Jim and the enormous influence he had on our lives. We honor a dear friend whose spirit will always be with us by sharing our best recollections and thoughts.
We are truly sorry for Jim’s loss and are appreciative that you were able to share him with us.
