Death and Obituary of Norah Lee Allen:- The cherished wife of legendary Grand Ole Opry performer Duane Allen and singer of the Oak Ridge Boys, Norah Lee Allen, has gone away. On Sunday, Norah Lee Allen’s death was declared. She had a protracted illness before passing away in Nashville. When Norah passed away, she was 76 years old.

“She had been experiencing health issues for a while,” according to a statement from Duane. “On Saturday night, she spent the entire night at Vanderbilt Hospital with her family.” We spent time telling her tales, singing to her, and showing her how much we loved her for every moment that God allowed us to have her here on Earth.

Concerning Norah Lee Allen
Born and reared in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Norah Lee began her musical career at three years old as a member of The Stuart Sisters Trio, a family gospel group that toured the Southeast. She was married to Duane Allen on September 22, 1969, having joined the famous Chuck Wagon Gang in 1968.

She had done studio work in Nashville in the early 1970s before becoming a full-time background singer for the Grand Ole Opry in 1980. She was an amazing singer with the Grand Ole Opry for more than 50 years. Norah Lee Allen dedicated her whole life—both personally and professionally—to supporting the growth of others around her. She played with some of the greatest names in music, yet she never wavered in her humility, her commitment to her family, or her Christian beliefs.

Unquestionably, Norah Lee was very talented, and her professionalism was flawless. The calm spirit and unwavering will of a successful and long-lasting artist were personified by Norah Lee Allen. She was respected by the whole Nashville music scene in her roles as a wife, mother, and grandma.
