Holly Parsons Death, Resident Of Elizabeth, WV Passed Away At Home Following An Extended Illness
Holly Parsons Death Cause – After being sick for a long time, Holly Parsons, 77, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, died peacefully at home on April 1, 2024. She had been having a hard time for a long time because of her illness.
He was the child of Ola Greathouse Parsons, who lived in Elizabeth, and Manford Parsons, who had left the family. His name comes from his father. Not only did his parents die before him, but so did his sister Opal and her husband Robert Adams, as well as his brother-in-law Roger King. Not only his parents had died before him, but so had other people.
As a devoted member of the Baptist church, Holly served in the US Army in Germany from 1967 to 1972. Holly worked for Viscose, Westvaco, and the Department of Highways, and she also worked in the wood industry. She also had a job in the building business.
He volunteered as a firefighter for the Elizabeth-Wirt Fire Department for more than 38 years. For the same amount of time, he was also a member of the American Fire and Ambulance #41 in St. Marys and the American Fire and Ambulance #82 in Elizabeth. He liked doing a lot of different things for fun, like fishing, shooting, camping, and fixing up old cars.
Holly’s children are Craig Kelley, Michael C. Parsons, and Aaron L. Parsons; his grandchildren are Aaron Michael, Mackenzie Elizabeth, Jade Kye, Hunter David, Eric Matthew, Mika Leann, and Madison Lynn; his great-grandchildren are Gabby, Boo, Anna, Paxton, Laiden, Kreed, Aubs, Makai, Skyler, and Benji; and he is also survived by his siblings Barbara King, Sherman Parsons (Brenda), and Steve Parsons (Kim); and a lot of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
On Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, people can visit at the Matheny Whited Funeral Home in Elizabeth, West Virginia. On Friday, April 5, 2024, from 9:00 am until the time of the service, they can visit from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The funeral house is in the town of Elizabeth.
In honor of the person who died on April 5, at 2:00 p.m., funeral services will be held at the funeral home. Rites from both the Masonic and military orders will be used at the event. After the service, the body will be buried at the family graveyard on Horse Run Road in Elizabeth, West Virginia. When the Matheny Whited Funeral Home helped the Parsons family with the arrangements, they thought it was an honor.
