Holly Parsons Obituary, Death Cause – On Monday, April 1, 2024, Holly Parsons, age 77, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away quietly at her residence after a prolonged illness. She had been struggling with her condition for a long time.
He was the son of Ola Greathouse Parsons, who lived in Elizabeth, and Manford Parsons, who had gone away. He was named after his father. Not only did his parents die away before him, but he was also preceded in death by his sister and her husband, Opal and Robert Adams, as well as by his brother-in-law, Roger King. His parents were not the only individuals who had passed away before him.
Holly, who was a devout follower of the Baptist church, served in the United States Army in Germany from 1967 until 1972. Holly was employed by the Viscose, Westvaco, and the Department of Highways in addition to working in the timber sector. She also worked in the construction industry.
Over the course of more than 38 years, he served as a volunteer firefighter for the Elizabeth-Wirt Fire Department. Additionally, he was a member of the American Fire and Ambulance #41 in St. Marys for the same amount of time, and he was dedicated to the American Fire and Ambulance #82 in Elizabeth. Activities such as fishing, hunting, camping, and tinkering on old autos were among his favorite pastimes.
Holly is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sara; his children Craig Kelley, Michael C Parsons, and Aaron L Parsons; his grandchildren Aaron Michael, Mackenzie Elizabeth, Jade Kye, Hunter David, Eric Matthew, Mika Leann, and Madison Lynn; his great-grandchildren Gabby, Boo, Anna, Paxton, Laiden, Kreed, Aubs, Makai, Skyler, and Benji; his siblings Barbara King, Sherman Parsons (Brenda), and Steve Parsons (Kim); and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends all survive him.
Visitation will be held at the Matheny Whited Funeral Home in Elizabeth, West Virginia, on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Friday, April 5, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am and lasting until the time of the ceremony. The funeral home is located in Elizabeth. On Friday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m., the funeral services will be held at the funeral home as the location of the funeral services.
Theevent will involve both Masonic Rites and military Rites as part of its rituals. Following that, the burial will take place at the family cemetery, which is situated on Horse Run Road in Elizabeth, West Virginia.
