James Robert Dailey Obituary, Death Cause – James Robert “J.R.” Dailey, who resided in Paris and was 87 years old at the time of his death, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. He was 78 years old at the time of his passing. As a result of the death of his wife, Charlotte Burke Dailey, he was already a widower. Within the boundaries of Bourbon County, J.R. was born for the very first time on July 25, 1936. His parents, James Vernon Dailey and Della Keller Bringman, had already passed away by the time he was born.
His birth occurred after they had both passed away. He was the son of the couple. In addition to having spent a considerable amount of time working as a farmer, J.R. had also completed his high school education at Bourbon County High School in 1955 and had retired from IBM after having worked there for a total of twenty-four years. To add insult to injury, he was employed by Bourbon County Schools as a motor vehicle driver for a period of seventeen years.
A variety of groups, such as the Rotary Club, the Scottish Rite, the Paris Lodge #2 F&AM, and the Trinity First Church of God, counted him as a member at one point or another. The ancient Farmall tractors that he owned were another source of great enthusiasm for him. Another member of his family, his daughter Donna Lynn Dailey, as well as his brother John “Tommy” Dailey, had already passed away prior to his passing. As the sole surviving member of his family, he was the only left. In the time leading up to his demise, a number of people, including his wife and his parents, had already passed away.
His daughter, Tracy Dailey Burchell, who is married to Keith, his sister-in-law, Helen Dailey, his brother-in-law, Gary Burke, his caregiver and special friend, Carlotta (Calvin) Isaacs, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins are among those who are left behind after his passing. The marriage of his daughter to Keith occurs.

The date and time of the reception are still to be determined. Masonic Rites will take place shortly after the funeral service, which will start at one o’clock.

Singleton will serve as the presiding ministers of the worship service, and the burial will take place in the Winchester cemetery.
