Dr.Misty Germaine Obituary, Death Cause – 2005 was the year that Dr. Misty Germaine started working at the EMS Independent School District. This was the beginning of her tenure there. Initially, she was employed as a kindergarten teacher at Bryson Elementary School, where she began her career in education. She went on to seek a career as a math interventionist at Remington Point Elementary and Comanche Springs Elementary after she came to the realization that mathematics was her true calling.
She worked at both of these elementary schools while she was there. After becoming an instructional math coach at Gilliland Elementary School, she was eventually promoted to the position of district elementary math coordinator. Her previous position was at Gilliland Elementary School. During the course of the last few years, she has been employed there.
Her decision to take the position was influenced by the fact that the school system recognized her ability to collaborate with teachers and provide them with additional support in the form of instructional ideas. During the past eighteen years, Dr. Germaine has been bringing her enthusiasm for the education of students to her place of employment each and every day. Her performance in this area has been satisfactory.
Instilling confidence in each and every student with regard to mathematics was her purpose and ambition, and she wanted every educator to be aware that every child had the capacity to attain success in mathematics. She wanted to create confidence in those students, and that was her goal and intention.
She fought cancer until the day she died away on April 1, 2024, while she was in the midst of her professional life. However, she ultimately succumbed to the disease. A legacy of self-efficacy for all individuals, as well as a passion for public education, will be left behind by her through the scholarship program that she founded for individuals who are interested in becoming educators. She will also leave behind a desire for public education.
