A minor suspect has been apprehended in relation to a fatal shooting at a hookah lounge in Lewisville.
The incident resulted in the death of 19-year-old Jayden Anderson, with another individual sustaining injuries during the shooting at Luxor Hookah Lounge on Friday night.
Lewisville Police reported a brawl erupting at the hookah lounge on SH-121 Business last Friday, March 29, during which gunfire broke out.
On Tuesday, a 16-year-old suspect was apprehended at the Xquisite Smoke Shop on W. Main Street and has since been charged with murder.
Due to his status as a minor, authorities have chosen not to disclose his identity or provide a mugshot.
The suspect is currently detained at the Denton County Juvenile Detention Center.
