Osman Farouq obituary, Death a Virginia Tech alumnus, died in a motorcycle accident

Death of Osman Farouq – The son of Fauzia and Umer Farouq, Osman Farouq was a graduate of Virginia Tech who died on Monday, April 1, in a motorbike accident.

Osman was not only a very imaginative person but also a dedicated aeronautical engineer whose expertise was invaluable to the field of aviation. Osman excelled in his role at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas, thanks to his proficiency in static and service load analysis.

His area of expertise included a variety of software packages, including many 3D modeling tools, Microsoft Office suites, MATLAB, and finite element analysis.

Osman’s collaborative approach was evident in his ability to work well with cross-functional teams, which helped the Integrated Fighter Group advance.

Osman is very proud of the Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering degree he earned from Virginia Tech. While a student at the university, he actively participated in undergraduate research with the Cavitation, Propulsion, and Multiphase Flow Laboratory, demonstrating his excitement and dedication to his field.

On April 2, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), situated at 46903 Sugarland Rd., Sterling, Virginia 20164, will have a Janazah prayer. We shall offer this prayer in Osman Farouq’s honor. We hope that Allah grants him the blessing of Janat-ul-Firdus at this difficult time, and that He provides his family the strength and patience they need.

All of us who had the honor of knowing him will cherish his contributions to the aerospace industry, and Osman’s legacy will serve as a source of inspiration for us going forward. We would want the Farouq family to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers at this trying time of loss and grief.
