Robert Meehan Death Cause – Robert Meehan, a Brother Fire Fighter who had previously retired from the New York City Fire Department after serving as a Rescue Lieutenant, passed away not too long ago. Meehan had served in several capacities during his time with the department. It had been ten years since Meehan had joined the department as a participant. On not one but two separate times, Meehan was involved in the fire department in some capacity. Both of these occurrences occurred unrelated to one another in any way. He was a member of the military from the beginning of his career to the very end. Following a total of thirteen years of service to the Department, Robert has made the choice to retire on July 21, 2019, when he will have completed his tenure. It was on March 23, 1994 that he was appointed to the Department, and he was employed there throughout his whole tenure.
His professional life had been long and prestigious, and he had accomplished a great deal of accomplishment over the course of that period of time. He had been successful in a lot of things. With one hundred years of service under his belt, he ultimately arrived at the conclusion that it was time for him to step down from his position.
