Investigations into a Shooting in Portsmouth, Virginia: On Tuesday, there was a shooting in Norfolk that left one guy with potentially fatal injuries. At 6:43 p.m., there was a shooting at the intersection of Wall Street and Portsmouth Boulevard, which prompted the Portsmouth Police Department to respond.

The cops found a man who was critically injured from a gunshot wound and was in critical condition. The identity of the suspect is unknown. We will provide any new information that becomes available.

One suspect has been taken into custody in relation to the incident on Norfolk Dale Drive.
On Friday night, at around eleven o’clock, Portsmouth Police Department officers responded to the 200 block of Dale Drive following reports of gunfire. Daniel Christian Rodgers, a 28-year-old male, was found to have had possibly lethal gunshot wounds. Rodgers had died on the spot, according to the emergency medical workers that came to the scene.

The police arrested Marquise Toraz Riddick-Whitfield, a 23-year-old, on Monday. The Portsmouth police department has stated that he is facing charges related to attempted robbery, aggravated murder, firearm usage, shooting during the commission or attempt of a criminal, and shooting with the intent to kill or maim.

Two male suspects who remain unidentified and were captured on camera during the incident are the subjects of an ongoing investigation by authorities. Vontrece Rodgers, the mother of Aaron Rodgers, spoke to the crowd on Saturday during a press conference. The entire populace was urged to come forward with information.
