Blake E Broadbent Obituary, Riverside man identified in deadly San plane crash
Blake E Broadbent Obituary – A Riverside resident, identified as 35-year-old Blake E. Broadbent, lost his life in a plane crash that occurred on Saturday night after a plane departing from Stockton crashed.
The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident. FlightRadar24 data indicates that the plane took off from Stockton.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing the plane malfunction before it crashed in the northern part of San Bernardino at approximately 8:21 p.m. on Saturday.
Despite the deputies’ prompt response, the search in the mountainous area was hindered by the difficult terrain. Additionally, adverse weather conditions prevented the sheriff’s Aviation Division from assisting.
Nevertheless, on Sunday, the Aviation Division discovered a debris field in the mountains north of Devil’s Canyon. Search and Rescue teams, accompanied by a coroner’s office investigator, were dispatched to the site where they located the deceased individual.
The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that the crash involved a twin-engine Gulfstream AC95 aircraft. The National Transportation Safety Board has initiated an independent investigation into the incident.
