Bobby Huff Obituary – The deceased individual was identified as Bobby Huff, aged 78. Following the collision on Friday, he was one of six individuals transported to the hospital. While three of them were taken by ambulance to nearby medical facilities and discharged shortly after the incident, the remaining three, including Huff, were airlifted to hospitals in the vicinity.

Unfortunately, Huff passed away, while the other two are currently in critical but stable condition, according to DPS. Clenard Parker, aged 42, stands accused of stealing the large vehicle from Chappell Hill, located approximately 15 minutes away from Brenham.

Upon spotting the stolen vehicle, law enforcement officers attempted to halt Parker’s progress, but he fled and ultimately crashed into the Texas DPS office in Brenham. At one point, Parker maneuvered the vehicle out of the DPS office to ram the building once more. However, he was swiftly removed from the driver’s seat by law enforcement and apprehended, as reported by DPS.

The collision resulted in injuries to a total of 14 individuals. The eight individuals who did not require hospitalization were treated at the scene and subsequently discharged. Parker emerged unscathed from the incident.

Following his arrest, he was taken to Washington County Jail, where he remains in custody on charges of three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury, one count of evading arrest or detention causing serious bodily injury, and one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

DPS revealed that Parker drove the 18-wheeler into the Brenham office after being denied a renewal of his commercial driver’s license the day before. The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
