Mobile Police arrest homeless man in connection to robbery
MOBILE, Ala.— A man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly robbed a man, according to the Mobile Police Department.
39-year-old Duane McPherson, who is listed as homeless, according to the Mobile County Metro Jail log, was arrested in connection to the incident.
An MPD news release said officers were called to the 150 block of the East I-65 Service Road around 10:15 a.m. Saturday for a report of a robbery.
INCIDENT LOCATION:
Officers arrived and heard that a man, now identified as McPherson, assaulted another man before taking his belongings, according to the release.
The victim described the suspect to police, which led to McPherson’s arrest.
The victim was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
