Eileen Monaghan Death – A Chicopee firefighter has been accused of fatally stabbing his girlfriend over the weekend in western Massachusetts. On Sunday around 1:30 a.m., Holyoke police were called to the 200 block of South Water Street due to suspicious activity.

Upon arrival, they discovered a man and a woman at the scene. The woman had apparent stab wounds, while the man was unresponsive due to self-inflicted injuries. Despite receiving medical attention, the woman, identified as 48-year-old Eileen Monaghan of Chicopee, passed away.
